Skull mural inaugurated in Durango

Within the framework of the long-awaited Muuki 2024 Day of the Dead Festival “Sing and don’t cry”, this Monday, October 28 at 5:00 p.m. the inauguration of the spectacular “Skull Mural” will take place in the Plaza Fundadores. This striking Instagrammable installation, consisting of more than 700 hand-painted skulls, is a collective work of art made by employees of various municipal departments and their families, consolidating the creative and participatory spirit of the great Durango family.

The “Skull Mural” is a modern evocation of the skull walls that in ancient times symbolized the passage between life and death, a tradition that has been present in various cultures throughout history. Today, this installation becomes a visual attraction that, in addition to paying tribute to our traditions, invites everyone to enjoy a perfect artistic space to take memorable photographs.

We invite you to attend with your friends and family, and be part of this colorful celebration in Durango, the most Mexican north. Don’t forget to immortalize the moment and share it on your social networks using the hashtag #Muuki2024. The mural will be a meeting point for all those who wish to connect with our traditions and at the same time enjoy a unique visual experience.

Don’t miss the inauguration of the “Skull Mural” and join this vibrant party in honor of life and death. We look forward to seeing you!
