OXKUTZCAB.—Without the presence of Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal, who remains in Dubai, in the Arab Emirates, the Orange Fair in its 2023 edition began last night.
The Orange Fair, one of the most anticipated in the south of the State for its colorful sculptures made from citrus fruits, was inaugurated by the municipal authorities headed by the mayor, Juan José Martín Fragoso, and guests.
It was previously reported that after the ribbon cutting there would be a tour of the citrus exhibition, where the representatives of the 120 production units with their respective godmothers received the authorities.
Last night, prior to the inauguration, the municipal Civil Protection of Oxkutzcab reported via Facebook the installation of a command post as a preventive measure, “to provide assistance to the entire population that requires it during the holidays of the orange fair in its edition XXVII 2023”.
