The Mobility Secretariat (Semovi) of Mexico City announced the special schedules that public transport services will have during the end of the year.
The schedules include the services: Metro, Metrobus, Trolleybus, Cablebus, Passenger Transport Network (RTP), Light Rail, Ecobici and even parking meters.
The Mexico City Metro reported that on December 31 it will have a schedule from 07:00 to 23:00 hours. On the other hand, on January 1, 2024, the service of the lines will be from 07:00 to 00:00 hours.
Metrobus schedule for the end of the year
On Sunday, December 31, the Mexico City Metrobus will have a schedule from 05:00 to 23:00 hours. While on Monday, January 1, 2024 it will be from 05:00 to 00:00 hours.
Schedules of RTP, Trolleybus, Light Rail, Cablebus, Ecobici
The RTP service will have a schedule from 07:00 to 00:00 on December 31, and on Monday, January 1, 2024 it will be from 07:00 to 00:00 hours.
The Trolleybus service will have a schedule from 05:00 to 22:00 hours, while on January 1 from 05:00 to 00:00 hours.
On the other hand, the Light Rail will have a schedule from 07:00 to 22:30 hours, on December 31. On January 1, 2024, it will offer a service from 07:00 to 23:30 hours.
The Cablebus will have a schedule from 07:00 to 22:00 hours on December 31, while on January 1 from 07:00 to 23:00 hours.
The Ecobici service will offer a service from 05:00 to 00:30 hours, while on January 1 it will be from 07:00 to 00:30 hours.
Schedules of Bicycle Parking, Parking Meter, Vehicle Control and License Modules of the Semovi
The bicycle parking schedules will be from 05:00 to 01:00 hours, on December 31. On January 1, the service will be from 07:00 to 00:00 hours.
The parking meters will suspend their operations on December 31 and January 1, 2024.
The vehicle control and license modules of the Semovi will not operate on December 31 and January 1.
Service Support Schedule for Line 1 and Line 12
On the other hand, the service support for Line 1 will have a schedule from 07:00 to 23:00 hours. While on January 1, 2024, it will offer a service from 07:00 to 00:00 hours.
The emergency service for Line 12 will have a service from 07:00 to 23:00 hours during December 31. On January 1, it will offer a service from 07:00 to 00:00 hours.
Finally, citizens were advised to take into account the special service on both days to avoid setbacks in their transfers.
