An armed attack in the hotel zone of Tulum, in Quintana Roo, resulted in the shooting death of a foreign woman and a wounded man.
The incident occurred around 19:00 h on Friday at a beach located at kilometer 7.5 of the Tulum-Boca Paila road.
This event caused a strong mobilization in that area by police agents and emergency services.
The foreign woman was identified as Niko “N”, who lived in Cancun. The injured man was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.
So far, no authority has reported any arrests for this armed attack in Tulum.
