Tlaxcala successfully starts the Gastronomic Festival in Querétaro

The State Secretariat of Tourism (Secture) reported that Tlaxcala successfully started the Gastronomic Festival at the Hotel Misión Juriquilla, in Querétaro, from May 10 to 12, 2024, with a Pairing Dinner, where the culinary and cultural richness of the entity at the national and international level.

In this way, Tlaxcala offered a unique culinary experience, through the diversity and authenticity of local cuisine, with the entertainment of the Psalterios de Atltzayanca and the huehues of the region.

He indicated that attendees were able to enjoy a five-course menu from the Tequexquite Restaurant, in Nanacamilpa, where chef Andy Salazar included local ingredients such as corn, quintaniles, broad beans, huazontles, among others.

In addition, the Cuatro Volcanes distillery, from Totolac, prepared various cocktails, which have been awarded as one of the best liquors.

Due to his career, chef Andy Salazar will train his colleagues from the Misión Juriquilla and San Gil hotels in Querétaro, as well as Guanajuato, to share the gastronomy of Tlaxcala.

The next dates of the festival are at the Hotel Misión San Gil, from May 17 to 19, in Querétaro, and in Guanajuato, from May 24 to 26.

During the beginning of this event, representatives of the Secretariats of Tourism of Tlaxcala and Querétaro were present, as well as directors of Hoteles Misión, Juriquilla; tourism service providers and various media.
