A two-month-old baby and a man were killed in an armed attack against the house where they were located, in the Paseos del Mar subdivision in Cancún.
The attack occurred from outside the house and also left an adult woman injured; the assault took place on the night of Wednesday, May 15, in Supermanzana 251, confirmed by the Attorney General’s Office of Quintana Roo.
Local media reported that neighbors transported the woman to a hospital.
“The initial investigations indicate that the deceased was a friend of the attacked family and is allegedly involved in illicit activities.”
The authority noted that they have the characteristics of the aggressors and that a search operation was conducted to find the hitmen; however, no arrests have been reported for this double homicide.
