Three People Crushed in Accident on the Querétaro-San Luis Potosí Highway

In the incident, it was learned that the driver lost control and veered off the road, colliding with a parked tanker truck.

Three people died after being trapped inside the car they were traveling in when it crashed into the rear of a tanker truck on the Querétaro-San Luis Potosí highway, near Santa Rosa Jáuregui.

At the scene, it was revealed that the driver of a white Volkswagen car lost control and veered off the road toward the parked tanker at a gas station, resulting in the collision with the truck.

Two people lost their lives in the crash. National Guard personnel cordoned off the area and notified the Querétaro Prosecutor’s Office. Firefighters and civil protection personnel then carried out the rescue of the three bodies, using special tools to cut through metal and sheeting.

The deceased, the driver, and a female passenger of approximately 35 years old, along with a young man of approximately 25 years old, were taken to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo).

Reports indicate that the private car was being driven at excessive speed, but authorities are conducting necessary investigations, including gathering information to determine the cause of the accident. They have also requested surveillance camera videos from the gas station itself.
