Bring Me The Horizon is a British metalcore band from Sheffield, England, formed in 2004. The band consists of vocalist Oliver Sykes, guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean and drummer Matt Nicholls. Since its inception, the band has experienced a notable evolution in its musical style, moving from deathcore in its early works to a more accessible and melodic sound.

The band’s first album, “Count Your Blessings” (2006), placed them in the extreme metal scene, although it was with “Suicide Season” (2008) that they began to receive greater international attention. “There Is a Hell Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is a Heaven Let’s Keep It a Secret.” (2010) continued their experimentation, integrating electronic and orchestral elements.

The release of “Sempiternal” (2013) marked a turning point, with the addition of Jordan Fish and a turn towards a more accessible sound that attracted a wider audience. This album includes hits such as Can You Feel My Heart and Sleepwalking, cementing the band in the modern rock scene.

In 2015, “That’s the Spirit” cemented their commercial success, exploring more introspective and personal themes. Subsequently, “amo” (2019) demonstrated their versatility by incorporating elements of pop and electronic music.

Bring Me The Horizon has continued to experiment with sounds and styles, and their EP “Post Human: Survival Horror” (2020) received praise for its bold and contemporary approach. The band’s ability to constantly reinvent themselves has been key to their longevity and success in the music industry.
