The cause of death and identity of the person are still unknown. The lifeless body of a person was found floating in Banderas Bay off the beaches of Puerto Vallarta.

The discovery was recorded this Monday, June 17, after a boat saw the body of a person floating in the distance, so they immediately approached to try to help him, however, it was too late.

The lifeless body of the man was found floating in the bay off the beaches of Marina Vallarta.

The recreational boat located the body and notified the authorities, indicating that the body was about 800 meters from the beach off Marina Vallarta.

The informant mentioned that, from his location, the towers of the hotels located near the mouth of the Pitillal River could be seen.

The person who notified the authorities sent photos of the body, which allowed the agents to request the support of the Fire Department personnel to transfer it to a safe place. Once on land, the Public Prosecutor’s Office initiated the corresponding protocol to investigate the causes of death and the identity of the victim.
