The bypass from La Cruz de Huanacaxtle to the Vallarta Airport will be ready in September

Libramiento de La Cruz de Huanacaxtle al Aeropuerto de Vallarta estará listo en septiembre

The governor of Nayarit, Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero, confirmed during his visit to Bahía de Banderas that the bypass from La Cruz de Huanacaxtle to Puerto Vallarta Airport will be inaugurated on time and in due form next September by the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO).

He added that it is a commitment of the federal president and that it will be fulfilled before his administration ends. He also revealed that this work had presented some delays, due to the fact that there was a controversy with a land possessor who crosses the route, however it is now resolved.

“Yes, it should be in September, it was a commitment of the President that in September this road section would be delivered,” he said.

It should be remembered that this project, which is being worked on at a forced pace in Bahía de Banderas and Puerto Vallarta, and which is already showing significant progress, is one of the most interesting projects for President López Obrador, given that, together with the new Guadalajara-Puerto Vallarta highway, it would be one of the most recognized projects of his mandate.

So much so that on April 6, he unexpectedly carried out a brief supervision of the construction and videos were filmed for the farewell series that they have prepared for him. That is why it is expected to be ready before there is a change of mandate.

With all of the above, together with the completion of the Tepic to Compostela highway, a historic precedent of connectivity from Guadalajara and from the Nayarit capital would be set.
