The female K-pop group will set foot on Aztec land for the first time

K-pop girl group IVE is in the midst of their first world tour “SHOW WHAT I HAVE,” having visited over twenty countries. The next stop on the tour will be in Mexico, at the iconic Palacio de los Deportes on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.

IVE, comprised of Gaeul, An Yujin, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo, debuted on December 1, 2021 under the agency Starship Entertainment. From their first single “ELEVEN,” the group rose to success, taking first place on national charts just a week after its release and 13 awards at music shows. Their second single “LOVE DIVE” also topped the Korean charts and earned them 10 awards. With their single “After LIKE,” IVE became a “Million Seller.”

In 2022, IVE won major awards such as Best New Artist and Best Song of the Year for “LOVE DIVE” at the Melon Music Awards, and received the Song of the Year award at the MAMA Awards and Asia Artist Awards. They also won the Digital Song of the Year award at the 37th Golden Disk Awards and Best Song at the 32nd Seoul Music Awards.

In 2023, they released their first full album “I’ve IVE,” selling over 1.1 million copies in its first week. Their songs “Kitsch” and “I AM” won a total of 11 domestic awards. Their latest material “I’VE MINE” has sold over 1.6 million copies, establishing itself as a “Million Seller” for the third time in a row. In April, they released the EP “IVE SWITCH,” highlighting the title track “HEYA” and the B-side “Accendio.”

The closest metro station is Velódromo, on Line 9 (brown). The closest Metrobús station is Goma, on Line 2 (purple). The Sports Palace has a parking lot with limited capacity and variable cost. The ticket offices are located at doors 1 and 7, located between Añil and Atletas, with opening hours from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
