VIDEO: This is how Isla Mujeres looks after Hurricane Beryl.

Through social media, a video was shared showing the current state of Isla Mujeres following the passage of Hurricane Beryl in Quintana Roo.

Isla Mujeres is one of the favorite destinations in the Mexican Caribbean, but it was one of the areas affected during Hurricane Beryl’s passage in Quintana Roo.

The first impacts in Quintana Roo began during the early hours of Friday due to the proximity of then-Hurricane Beryl. Heavy rains and strong winds were not long in coming to the region.

Fallen branches were just part of what the hurricane left behind, according to reports on social media. In situations like this, it’s often the local residents who report their experiences.

It’s worth noting that Beryl made landfall in Quintana Roo at precisely 5:05 AM (Central Mexico Time). The rains spread for a couple of hours, and by 9:00 AM, the phenomenon reached Yucatán.

Similarly, in Yucatán, there were impacts such as fallen trees during the rains and strong winds, leading to a Red Alert status.

Both regions will gradually resume their activities as the tropical storm moves away from the peninsula during these hours.

Through social media, a video was shared just hours after the hurricane passed through the region. Among the initial impacts, fallen branches can be seen.
