In the category of 500 thousand to one million inhabitants, Durango stands out for its environmental performance and political system, although it faces challenges in road safety. Among cities with 250 to 500 thousand inhabitants, Los Cabos leads in tourism and infrastructure, but Chilpancingo has the lowest performance due to poor working conditions.
Among smaller cities, Piedras Negras is the most competitive, with low crime rates and excellent working conditions.
