The downtown area of Tampico is experiencing a revival of businesses, especially franchises that had been located in other commercial areas, from fast food companies, now it is projected that other businesses that have been successful in the area will have branches in the first square.
Investment in the gastronomic sector has been increasing with new branches of brands that were already in the area, while others are first units and others are remodeling that have been planned for several months and it is expected that in this second period of the year they will be completed.
They hope that the attraction of businesses to this part of the city will continue
The Municipal President of Tampico, Jesús Nader Nasrallah, reported that more investments are coming to the downtown area of this city, which will generate more jobs and reactivate the commercial dynamic in the downtown area of Tampico, which continues to be the most important commercial area of the city.
The mayor of the city explained that there are some restaurants and cafes that will be installed in the first and second squares of the city, such as Cafetería Andrade, Kurai and Starbucks, which are brands with a high value and that have had a very good acceptance by the citizens.
He said that it is expected that these new branches will generate the arrival of more businesses and currently these are franchises that are carrying out the necessary procedures to be able to open in this part of the city, some of these being located in the pedestrian areas of the first square of the city.

“Tampico continues to be a tourist trigger to generate jobs, that is why more investments are coming, I understand that several are coming, we do not know the investment, but they will bring jobs,” said the mayor, mentioning that those that have been installed have a good acceptance.
Regarding security, he indicated that the bases, mechanisms and strategies are left in place to continue maintaining a climate of peace and certainty in this area, there will be no need to worry because the south of Tamaulipas will continue to be the safest area in Tamaulipas.
