Yucatecan Entrepreneur Murdered in Cancún, Quintana Roo

BENITO JUÁREZ, QUINTANA ROO, 27JULIO2018.- La Fiscalía General del Estado informa que peritos criminalistas y agentes de la policía ministerial trabajan al interior de un local anexo de un restaurante de la supermanzana 86, en donde de manera preliminar se informa que un grupo de personas armadas ingresó abriendo fuego en contra de los asistentes. Como resultado de este ataque en un local rumbo a Puerto Juárez, cinco personas perdieron la vida y tres lesionadas por disparos de arma de fuego. De los cinco occisos, uno es agente de la policía Ministerial identificado con iniciales Juan C. M. L, y entre las tres personas heridas, está el comandante Héctor J.C.B, adscrito a la agencia de Isla Mujeres. De manera preliminar las otras cuatra personas sin vida laboraban en el local. Hasta el momento, no se tiene reporte que algún turista estuviera presente en el lugar. La autoridad investigadora continúa en el lugar de los hechos para recabar y procesar la escena del crimen para emitir información verifica de como ocurrieron los acontecimientos reportados a las 20:44 horas de este viernes. An entrepreneur and accountant from Yucatán, Eduardo H.M., 31 years old, was shot dead this morning in Quintana Roo.

Quintana Roo authorities are working to identify and locate those responsible for Eduardo H.M.’s death.

Yucatecan Entrepreneur Assassinated in Cancún

Eduardo H.M., originally from Mérida, Yucatán, was gunned down in the Santa Fe neighborhood of superblock 316 in Cancún.

The attack occurred outside the accounting firm where he worked.

This morning, he arrived at his workplace, parking in front of the building. However, as he exited his vehicle, an individual wearing a black shirt and pants approached and fired nine shots at the Yucatecan man.

The assailant walked away from the scene, as reported by Meganews.

Meganews stated that the victim suffered six gunshot wounds to his left side, resulting in almost instant loss of life.

Relatives of the deceased were present at the scene during the ongoing investigations and spoke with Attorney General Raciel López Salazar.

López Salazar assured that the perpetrators will be located and apprehended.
