Puerto Vallarta will receive for the first time a cruise ship from the North American super luxury line Seabourn, one of the most exclusive cruise lines in the world, changed the spring 2025 itineraries for its Seabourn Encore ship. The Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust Office reported that next year this impressive ship will make 18 stops on a new route that will cross the Panama Canal.

The ship will cover more than 20,000 miles, visiting four continents and crossing two oceans along its journey. The new route will visit 36 ports in 18 countries, with stops in California, Miami, Hawaii, the Mediterranean, Japan and Southeast Asia, Tokyo, Cartagena and Puerto Vallarta. The trips will last between 7 and 25 days and can be combined for longer trips of up to 53 days.
The story of the elegant and exclusive ship
The ultra-luxury yacht Seabourn Encore is the second newest and most modern ship in Seabourn’s young fleet and sister ship to the later yacht Seabourn Ovation. It is Bahamian-flagged, its maiden voyage was in 2016, with capacity for 600 passengers and a crew of 450, consists of 12 decks, weighs 41,865 tons, measures 28 meters long by 210 meters wide and reaches a speed of 19 knots.
One of the most celebrated contemporary interior designers, the Romanian Adam Tihany, was commissioned to design its elegant and soft decoration. It features interiors in light colors and curves that reflect a minimalist style, in keeping with the luxury ship, with classic decorative elements of the nautical tradition and private yachts.

The Seabourn Encore incorporates some new features compared to its predecessors, such as the additional deck, more space in the public areas, a modern design and most importantly, absolutely all suites with a private balcony.
