A pilot prevented a tragedy from occurring in Jalisco, so he made the necessary maneuvers so that the plane he was piloting could make an emergency landing on the Macrolibramiento located in the municipality of Tala.

The plane made an emergency landing this Sunday, August 11, 2024, at kilometer 77 + 500 of the Macrolibramiento, near the town of San Isidro Mazatepec.

Why did a plane land on the Macrolibramiento?

Local and state firefighters responded to the emergency and reported that the plane had to make an emergency landing on the Macrolibramiento, due to a mechanical failure in the aircraft.

This forced the pilot to carry out emergency work to glide and land on the highway. Fortunately, no injuries or material damage were reported.

Only the Macrolibramiento lanes were closed to traffic, while work was carried out to remove the plane.
