KEXP Returns to Mexico City for Live Music Sessions

Seattle-based radio station KEXP is returning to Mexico City this October with two live events that celebrate modern Latin music. The station has been sharing Ibero-American artists with its global audience on YouTube and now aims to create an immersive experience in the Mexican capital.

 Key Events:

   Live on KEXP: On Oct. 17-18, KEXP will host 12 Ibero-American artists at El Desierto Casa Estudio in Mexico City.

   El Sonido Live MEXICO: This inaugural event will take place on Oct. 19 and marks the first time El Sonido has ventured outside the U.S.

 Behind-the-Scenes:

KEXP staff members Cheryl Waters and Albina Cabrera are excited to share modern Latin music with their audience in Mexico City. With a strong online presence, KEXP has about 280,000 weekly listeners on its radio show and over 3.2 million subscribers on YouTube.
