The Zihuatanejo-Ciudad Altamirano state highway is in poor condition due to the rains, according to residents of the mountains in Vallecitos de Zaragoza.
Photos and videos showed that the rains have left landslides and sections with collapses, as well as potholes on the entire communication route and the Ministry of Communications and Transportation has not implemented crews to clean the highway, which also registers the growth of weeds that increases the risk.
They celebrated that it is finally raining, but regretted that the agency in charge of the highway does not address the problem that could cause a serious accident because the road is like a “powder keg” that is destroyed with little.
Separately, the farmer from the Mesas de Bravo community, Bulfrano Bravo, said that the ejidatarios and the groups of the Sembrando Vida program and the people in general are organizing themselves for Sunday to clean the highway of the weeds that are on the edge because there is also no good visibility.
