The first La Paz Tourism Bazaar Linkage and Sustainability 2024 will be held this Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Galeón room of the Marine Waterfront Hotel, in this city.
The director of Tourism of the La Paz city council, Natalia Ruffo Castaño, said that this bazaar is really a tourist market that aims to articulate the sector of this municipality.
It is a space that aims to attract entrepreneurs, producers, operators and providers of tourist services so that they can exhibit their products and services, and at the same time they can talk about trends in the tourism sector in the region and in the world, establish and strengthen business networks, adequate promotion and that the same sector knows the municipal tourist offer.
She considered that Balandra, Espíritu Santo and the whale shark are tourist attractions that are already very well positioned, so it is time to also see the delegations, where incredible things are happening.
“It is important that we articulate ourselves, that we connect in order to take better advantage of all those products, because we are a super destination that must continue to be developed in a good way, growing well and taking care of it, above all.”
He mentioned that the bazaar begins at 10:00 a.m. with the participation of more than 51 exhibitors from all over the municipality: from Carrizal, Puerto Chale, La Ventana, El Sargento, San Bartolo and El Triunfo, among other places, which is one of the objectives of the event, that people from the communities that are developing tourism come.
He pointed out that there will also be stands to give information and business linking activities, with the participation of hotels such as Seven Crown, La Concha, Índigo de Puerta Cortés, Baja Club and Marea La Paz, as well as restaurants such as El Anzuelo and La Ambrusia.
According to the event program. At 10:30 there will be a conference entitled “How we see the future of tourism in La Paz: different perspectives for the same vision”.
At 11:00 am the business networking meetings are scheduled; at 2:00 pm the participation of the mayor of La Paz, Milena Quiroga Romero; at 4:00 pm the keynote conference “Natural and Cultural Power of the Municipality of La Paz, for the Development of an Alternative Tourism”; and at 5:00 pm, the closing ceremony.
