Residents of the municipality of Loreto, Baja California Sur, captured on August 24 the arrival of the yacht of the founder of Meta and American magnate, Mark Zuckerberg, to the tourist port of the region.
The impressive ship of the businessman named “Launchpad”, arrived to the Loreto coast after remaining 48 hours anchored in the bay of the city of La Paz, in the nautical area of El Coromuel beach.

The sighting has caused a stir in the South Californian tourist destination. Several international content pages have replicated the photographs of the colossal ship traveling the waters of Loreto.
The LaunchPad was designed by the Espen Oino agency and manufactured by the Feadship company. It was acquired by Zuckerberg in 2024 after paying a whopping $330 million for it.
With the purchase of the yacht, Zuckerberg also acquired a second support boat, the “Wingman,” sheltered inside the Launchpad to complete the needs of the main vessel.
Mark Zuckerberg’s flagship yacht has every possible comfort: from more than 20 fully furnished rooms, game rooms, private jacuzzis and a professional kitchen, as well as a private beach club, a pool with a rotating floor and capacity to accommodate up to 24 people.
