Oceanologist and UABC student sought in Ensenada

So far this week, two people from the educational community of the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), Ensenada Unit, are missing, in separate cases.

The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) issued two search cards to locate oceanologist Diana Yadira Vázquez Velázquez and student José Israel Carpio Ortiz.

Diana Yadira, 56 years old, was last seen on August 27, in the Bosque de los Olivos subdivision, in Ensenada.

She is 1.63 meters tall, medium build, white complexion, wide forehead, medium flat nose, black hair, dark brown eyes, medium ears, small mouth and thin lips, she wears glasses and has a tattoo on her arm with the figure of a heart with a bow.

Investigation of José Israel Carpio

José Israel, 20 years old, was last seen on August 27th, at the UABC facilities in El Sauzal, he was driving his 2009 model gray Honda Civic, without license plates.

He has a thin build, white complexion, straight dark hair with a mushroom cut, brown eyes, semi-bushy eyebrows, a straight nose, a medium mouth, regular lips, height 1.63 meters, weight 55 kilos.

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing light gray jeans, a light blue shirt, a grayish knitted sweater, black Converse tennis shoes and a school backpack.
