Beginning March 8, 2025, Southwest Airlines will operate a weekly direct flight between Sacramento, California, and Puerto Vallarta, adding to its international offering with a new Saturday service.
This flight complements the expansion of direct connections between the United States and Puerto Vallarta, as Alaska Airlines will also launch direct flights from New York, Sacramento, Kansas City and Saint Louis beginning in January 2025.
In addition, connectivity with Canada will be strengthened during the season from December 2024 to April 2025 thanks to WestJet, which will increase its flights between Winnipeg and Puerto Vallarta up to seven times per week.
Likewise, Air Transat will add an additional frequency to its new route from Montreal to Puerto Vallarta between February 11 and March 25, 2025, and will offer more flight options from other Canadian cities, such as Toronto, in collaboration with Porter Airlines.
Puerto Vallarta International Airport has 49 routes: 13 domestic and 36 international.
