Azula, a Six-Month-Old Pitbull, Brutally Killed with a Machete in Tabasco; Justice Demanded

According to Azula’s owner, the attacker struck her with a machete, splitting her skull in two.

Azula, a six-month-old pitbull, was brutally killed in Tabasco. The alleged perpetrator, identified as Chito, apparently attacked her without reason.

According to available information, the attack occurred inside the home where Azula lived in the town of Jalapa.

In response to the crime, animal protection organizations have launched a campaign on social media to ensure that the alleged animal abuser is prosecuted and pays for the crime.

How Was Azula Killed?

Betsayda Cuevas, the owner, reported the killing of her pet on social media.

“My dog Azula, a pitbull of approximately 6 or 7 months, was brutally attacked by an individual known as ‘Chito’,” she shared.

According to the woman’s testimony, the man attacked Azula with a machete.

“He attacked Azula, giving her a machete blow to the head that split her skull in two. The wound was so severe that Azula could not survive,” she said.

In response to Azula’s brutal killing, animal rights advocates have called on the Tabasco Prosecutor’s Office to hold those responsible for the death of the six-month-old dog accountable.

“This act of cruelty is not only inhumane but also a crime. Animal abuse and trespassing are serious crimes that must be punished,” said Azula’s owner.
