United Crew Delays Mérida to Houston Flight by Two and a Half Hours

Due to crew rest requirements, United delayed the flight to Houston at Mérida airport, originally scheduled for 7:00 AM.

Flight 1427 of United, which was scheduled to depart at 7:00 AM, but departed at 9:30 AM due to mandatory crew rest. This delay is because the flight arrived late on Tuesday, landing at Mérida airport at 9:00 PM, two hours and 55 minutes behind schedule.

Four other flights operated with delays ranging from 5 to 22 minutes, two to Mexico City and the others to Guadalajara and Monterrey.

Flights 7350 and 9242 of VivaAerobús departed for Mexico City at 6:00 AM, and two more to the same destination by Volaris and Aeroméxico left five minutes early at 7:49 AM and 7:51 AM, respectively.

Flight operations at Mérida airport are continuing normally. Six more flights are scheduled to depart for the capital and others to Miami, Querétaro, Veracruz, and Villahermosa between 8:00 AM and 1:50 PM.

Arriving Flights

So far, five flights have arrived slightly ahead of schedule, four from Mexico City and one from Monterrey, between 11 and 26 minutes early. Five more flights from Mexico City and others from Miami, Guadalajara, and Monterrey are expected to arrive between 9:00 AM and 1:56 PM.
