The National Institute of Migration detected a private flight in Chiapas that was trying to transport foreigners in an irregular condition, originally from Jordan and Egypt, which intended to travel from Tapachula to Sonora.

The institute reported that six adult men were traveling on that “air taxi,” of which four are nationals of Egypt and two of Jordan.

During the review of travel documents, immigration agents identified six adult men from both countries, who did not prove their regular stay in the country, so they were transferred to the Siglo XXI immigration station, to carry out their administrative immigration procedure.

The immigration operation, as well as the registration, model of the aircraft and crew data were made known to the state prosecutor’s office.

Through a statement, the INM indicated that they are following up for the protection and security of migrants, reinforcing immigration control in areas of private flights.
