A group of hooded individuals took over public transport buses and started a blockade on Eduardo Vasconcelos Boulevard in the city of Oaxaca.
They claim to be normalistas.
The group got the passengers off and held the public transport drivers in place.
With the blockade they are trying to obtain scholarships and other support for their studies.
Traffic in the area is interrupted in both lanes.
