A man detained last Monday was found dead in the preventive cells of the Solidaridad Police during the early hours of this Tuesday.
The individual had been apprehended for an administrative offense and placed at the disposal of the Civic Judge.
However, what seemed to be a routine custody turned into a fatal situation.
The man was found without vital signs by agents of the Municipal Preventive Police.
Despite the efforts of Red Cross paramedics, they could not save him.
The State Attorney General’s Office initiated the pertinent investigations, and the body was transferred by the 2 Norte Internacional Funeral Home.
So far, the exact causes of his death remain unknown.
