Members of a family were attacked by gunfire while at their home in Parras de la Fuente, Coahuila, resulting in a young man being wounded in the chest. Moments later, while transporting the injured to a hospital, the attackers intercepted them and shot at them again.

The incident occurred around 1:00 AM on Thursday, September 19, at a house located on Francisco Sarabia Street in the Eliseo Mendoza Berrueto neighborhood.

According to reports, the family was already resting when armed men arrived and fired multiple shots at the house. When a young man came out to confront them, he was hit by the bullets. He was identified as Ángel Osvaldo, 22, who was wounded in the chest, while a woman identified as María del Rosario, 47, suffered a nervous breakdown.

Additionally, the facade of the house was marked with multiple bullet impacts, and a truck had its windows shattered.

It was reported that the young man, Ángel Osvaldo, was transported in his own truck in search of medical attention. However, during the journey to the hospital, the family was intercepted a few blocks away by the same attackers, who fired directly at the vehicle.
