Welcome dinner offered at Casa Chihuahua to Discovery Travel Market participants

As part of the program of the Discovery Travel Market business meeting that takes place from Thursday, September 19 to Saturday, September 21 in the state of Chihuahua, with the capital as the welcome venue, on Wednesday night a dinner was offered for the participants who met at Casa Redonda where they enjoyed a hospitable evening hosted by the Fideicomiso ¡Ah, Chihuahua! led by Julio Chávez Ventura

Guests from different countries of the world attended this celebration, including: Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Colombia, the United States and Mexico who enjoyed products from the region, delving into the Chihuahua culture through gastronomy and art, contributing this activity to the promotion of tourism and the internationalization of the state.

During the evening, the symbolic delivery of 100 food packages was also made, which were directed to the State DIF, the institution that will be in charge of distributing them among vulnerable people; the food collection was an initiative of the Fideicomiso ¡Ah, Chihuahua! and included contributions from participating local businesses.

In his message, Julio Chávez Ventura, who along with his team is in charge of the Discovery Travel Market, thanked the state and municipal governments for their support in carrying out this activity, recognizing the work of all those involved who have made the organization of the event possible, which is expected to have a highly successful economic impact to continue with future editions.

“This event is for all of you, I appreciate the efforts of all those who were included, I thank the municipal government represented tonight by my friend Pepe Jordán, thanks to our secretary Edibray Gómez for his trust and to all my colleagues; it is an unprecedented event in the state, we are sure that it will be the first of many.”

He also urged potential buyers present to continue supporting them in promoting tourism in Chihuahua and gave a brief explanation of what the experience will be like on the visits they will make today and tomorrow to the Sierra Tarahumara as well as to the City of Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua.

The exhibition of natural landscapes that make up the state were the setting for this nightly gathering, enlivened by classical music that the audience listened to while they exchanged experiences regarding the day that was lived during the start of the business event that has as its main purpose, to promote and market the tourist destinations of Chihuahua.

Among the personalities in attendance, the attendance of Edibray Gómez Gallegos, Secretary of Tourism of the State Government, stood out, to whom Chávez Ventura, general director of Fideicomiso ¡Ah Chihuahua! reiterated his gratitude and urged visitors to enjoy the agenda for these days that includes a trip through the Chepe train, to Divisadero Barrancas, with the return via Cuauhtémoc where a meeting with the Mennonite culture is planned.
