600 soldiers arrive in Mazatlán to reinforce security

On the morning of Saturday, September 21, 600 military personnel arrived in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. The objective of this deployment is to strengthen the operational actions already carried out by military personnel in the state, in order to inhibit the activities of organized crime.

These troops will work in close coordination with local authorities, with the aim of reducing crime rates through joint actions that promote the preservation of order and public peace.

Lieutenant Colonel of Infantry of the III Military Zone in Mazatlán, Edith Fabián Martínez Sabala, reported that among the security tasks the soldiers will undertake are those related to operations.

Shortly before noon, a large convoy of Army units entered through the municipality of Rosario, heading to the port, where they will be conducting various security operations.
