From Pinotepa Nacional, Manuel Maza Sánchez, coordinator of Civil Protection, said that there is damage insurance for the effects on roads and homes, and that this Tuesday the evaluation will begin.

They reported that there are brigades working to reestablish traffic on local roads and paths, such as in the Sierra Sur and in Pochutla, where a sinkhole opened.
The governor will remain in the coastal region, where classes will continue to be closed until Wednesday, to avoid putting the school population and their families at risk.
He stressed that the prompt response to the warnings and the willingness of people to follow the recommendations prevented the loss of human lives and other types of damage.
The hospitals in Nopala, Río Grande and Pinotepa are without electricity, but they still attended to an emergency, a woman in labor who was treated without incident and is reported to be stable.
