Michelin Chef Meets & Autoart, the event of the year
The Michelin Star is a recognition of the most outstanding and exceptional gastronomic proposals in the world, where the quality of the ingredients, the harmony of the flavors, the mastery of the culinary techniques and the personality of the chef, reflected in his kitchen, are highlighted.
Rafael Covarrubias said he was very proud to receive this recognition, which highlights and exalts the cuisine that is made in Querétaro and in Mexico.
“The search to be better every day. People say that perfection is unattainable, but perfection is a journey, not a final destination. That is why I always try to work to be better. The team also motivates me; it is good to surround myself with people who also have high expectations for their careers, because they are constantly looking for ways to be better.”
In this way, Rafael Covarrubias joins a select list of Mexican chefs who have obtained Michelin Stars, such as Karime López, Carlos Gaytán, Roberto Ruiz, Enrique Casarrubias, Paco Méndez, Cosme Aguilar and Indra Carrillo, among others.
Under the leadership of Rafael Covarrubias, Hexagon was recognized as one of the most exciting new restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area and ranked among Toronto Life Magazine’s Best New Spaces shortly after opening in 2018.
