In commemoration of World Tourism Day, the Querétaro Tourism Secretariat, led by Adriana Vega Vázquez Mellado, organized several activities. These included lectures to students of the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ) and activations in the city’s Historic Center.
During a lecture to students of Tourism Business Administration, Vega highlighted the Secretariat’s key strategies, focused on inclusion, sustainability and digitalization. In addition, events were held in the Historic Center, such as rallies and trivia about local gastronomy, with prizes for participants.
Likewise, local restaurants offered prizes to those who mentioned the phrase I found Mexico in Querétaro dishes.
