The mayor of Tecpan, Yasir Deloya, reported that the federal highway Acapulco-Zihuatanejo was restored at the El Cuajilote bridge that collapsed last Thursday, however, he detailed that the road closure in Coyuca de Benítez is still ongoing.
On his Facebook account, Deloya reported that, from Tecpan to Zihuatanejo “there is passage” and vice versa, however, he stressed that, “there is passage from Tecpan to Coyuca,” referring to the municipal capital, but that is where traffic is closed, so it is not possible to go to Acapulco.
In addition, he reiterated that, as of this Saturday, in Tecpan they do not have Telcel and Telmex signal, at the time of specifying that now that the rain has stopped they are doing the damage count and attending to affected areas.
