Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa announced the construction of the new Tourist Boulevard that will connect Cancún with Costa Mujeres. This project represents a significant advancement in the state’s tourism infrastructure and is the result of efforts made before Claudia Sheinbaum, the first female President of Mexico.

The project, which will span over 25 kilometers, will involve a federal investment of 2.7 billion pesos and generate more than 500 jobs. “We are preparing for the expansion and construction of the road that will connect Cancún with Costa Mujeres. Quintana Roo is and will be a priority in this second stage of transformation!” stated Lezama.

Additionally, the governor highlighted the social importance of this project. “With the expansion of the existing sections, we will dignify this road, which is crucial for the workers in the tourism sector, who are the heart of our leadership in this field,” she added.

The construction will begin at López Portillo Avenue, extending to La Angostura. This new infrastructure will benefit various communities and sectors, improving the quality of life for those who travel this important route.

Mara Lezama emphasized that this project reflects a firm commitment to the transformation of the state and the well-being of its population. “In this New Era of Transformation, what is promised is fulfilled. We work hand in hand with the first female President of Mexico to make this project a reality,” she concluded.
