Less than 50 pesos! Ricardo Salinas Pliego is auctioning off tickets for Mazatlán vs Querétaro; this is what they cost

Ricardo Salinas Pliego, the president of Mazatlán F.C., is not at all happy with the violence that is being experienced in the state of Sinaloa due to the dispute between criminal groups, so in his plan to encourage the population not to live in fear, he decided to give a big discount on tickets. This Friday, September 4, the Cañoneros will face the Gallos del Querétaro for Matchday 11 of the Apertura 2024 tournament, and Ricardo Salinas Pliego decided to auction off tickets for women and children for less than $100 pesos; this is what they will cost.

Through a video on his official Instagram account, Ricardo Salinas Pliego sent a message to all Mazatlecos who have not been able to resume their daily activities due to the violence that is being experienced in the northern state. “Mazatlan fans, we’ll be waiting for you at the Estadio El Encanto, let’s see if we can do better now, ok? Let’s give it our all,” he said in a short video on his social networks, and posted the following text, “To continue with the #RichieFest2024 celebrations, I’m going to put the entire ticket price for this Friday’s game at $49 pesos for children and women.”

Likewise, in his same message, Salinas Pliego launched himself against the violence that is experienced in Sinaloa, since it has been to such an extent that commerce, education and other areas have been paralyzed; even Luis Miguel’s concert in Mazatlán was canceled due to the same problem. “No way, the violence did not allow the @luismiguel concert to take place, I had already given away more than 500 tickets and 4 of my boxes to the fans of @MazatlanFC and my nephews, sadly we all were left wanting to see the sun rise in #Sinaloa,” wrote Salinas Pliego in his message.

For almost three weeks now, the rates of violence have increased alarmingly in the northern state since the capture of Mayo Zambada, who accused Joaquín Guzmán López of having betrayed him so that the United States authorities could capture him. As a consequence of this action, the war between the factions of the Sinaloa Cartel has strongly clashed in armed confrontations in the main streets and avenues of several cities in Sinaloa, and even in neighboring states.

On Wednesday, September 19, the Attorney General of the State of Sinaloa reported that so far 43 people had been killed due to crossfire between the Chapitos and Zambada’s followers; they estimated that 33 were civilians and two more were soldiers killed in action. “Let’s take advantage and set an example… the good guys, we can’t stay locked up in our houses, while the bad guys walk free, fight for your freedom and go have fun with your families, this Friday at the stadium of the powerful Mazatlán FC,” Salinas Pliego concluded his message.
