Represents the state of El Mal Sueño in Durango

The Zacatecas company El Mal Sueño Teatro Físico will represent the state at the Revueltas de Durango Cultural Festival, where they will present their most recent production, Sagrada Rabia.

Abraham Díaz, who directs the production, highlighted: “it is one of the most recognized festivals in the north of the country, and they invited us to give a performance on October 17 at the Victoria Theater.”

He explained that Sagrada Rabia premiered last year at the Zacatecas Cultural Festival (FCZ), which is a work “very special to me, because it combines theater, dance and work with objects.”

The presentation “transports us to magical places and touches on themes such as guilt, redemption, love and forgiveness. It is a journey where many things happen,” he explained.

“WHAT IS IT THAT IS LOVED?”

Abraham Díaz explained that the construction of the story began from the question: what do you love when you love?

“I think it is a journey that invites us to reflect and give importance to this sacred thing that we have, and that was my question: what is the most important thing we have,” he added.

The talented cast that participates in Sagrada Rabia is made up of Alondra García, Edith Báez and Vicente Leyva Maldonado, in addition to Abraham Díaz. Rafael Navarro is the technician and Tadeo Sandoval and Fátima Bañuelos participated in the production.

It is worth mentioning that Abraham Díaz recently won the 2024 State Youth Award in the Performing Arts subcategory. In addition, his work was presented in various forums, such as the State Theater Showcase.
