Querétaro-San Luis Potosí Highway Closed Due to Passage of Boilers

The Querétaro-San Luis Potosí highway is experiencing traffic disruptions from the Querétaro Industrial Park to the Guanajuato border due to the passage of boilers heading to the Tula refinery in Hidalgo.

In this section, crane workers have begun removing pedestrian bridge infrastructure and signage to allow the passage of the mega boilers, complicating vehicular traffic.

As they pass through the Querétaro capital today, traffic is expected to be affected throughout the day due to various obstacles (electrical and telephone wiring, pedestrian bridges, and signage), causing slow progress.

The passage is slow and delayed, with the next step being to reach the Querétaro-Mexico City bypass junction, although no specific arrival date can be given due to the delays.

National Guard personnel are assisting with traffic and driver safety.
