Before entering the exhibition, you should know that currently the place that houses these incredible pieces is known as the temple of the Third Order, like the area where the convent was; in addition, the town changes its name to that of the Temple of San Francisco, by virtue of the fact that the temple that currently dominates the complex bears this name of Franciscans.

These machines belong to Leonardo’s first period of study on flight, which goes from 1482 to 1499.

In addition to these flying machines you will be able to see some sketches of his work, as well as in two of the rooms an explanation of his work on video.

There are virtual images that project The Vitruvian Man or Study of the Ideal Proportions of the Human Body, which is a famous drawing accompanied by anatomical notes by Leonardo da Vinci.

In a couple of rooms you will also find other types of machines such as The Mechanical Cat, the diving suit, another piece is the mobile and drawbridge, as well as the self-supporting bridge that consists of pieces that are easy to carry, transport and assemble without the need for tools, since it is self-supporting and was very stable.

In the paintings you will be able to appreciate “The Virgin and Child with Saint Anne and Saint John the Baptist as a Child”, “The Last Supper”, as well as one of his most famous pieces in the world “La Gioconda” or better known as “The Mona Lisa”, among others.

In this exhibition, distributed in four rooms and a hallway, you will be able to appreciate a large part of his inventions and works that this genius of the Renaissance made, and learn more about his creative process and the relevance of the artistic legacy of the greatest Italian master.
