The NASCAR Mexico Series is already in Puebla to run its penultimate date of the season and to define the four drivers who will fight for the title at the Hermanos Rodriguez Racetrack.
The last stretch before reaching the end of the campaign will be held at the 2.06 kilometers of the Miguel E. Abed Racetrack. In the top category, the NASCAR Mexico Series has seven drivers still alive, once the race is over there will only be four left.
Within the big series, the favorite is Abraham Calderon who runs without much pressure and as the points leader after winning in Querétaro three weeks ago. The one who is hot on his heels is the veteran of a thousand battles and four-time champion Rubén García Jr. with the 88 machine of the Diamyuga Racing Team.
However, what seems to be a battle without quarter is the fight for the pass to the final in the Challenge Series. The one who arrives with the desire to finish the job is the regular season champion Jorge “Koke” de la Parra with the 29 car of the HO Speed Racing. The podium in the land of the aqueducts was enough for him to stay alive, but it did not give him the direct pass to the race in the capital of the country.
The one who does arrive installed in the final is Eloy Sebastián of the Escudería Telmex after taking the victory of the silver category. The third in discord, also without securing his place in the final phase is Marco Marín of the Aga Racing Team.
