Athletics, an ideal discipline for children to have fun practicing sports
More than seven thousand participants from Mexico and other countries also attended, each date became a sports festival that brought together lovers of swimming in open waters.
One of the dates took place in Cuba, in which important swimmers from Mexico and internationally participated, as they enjoyed swimming in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean island.
During the season, the participants had to make an impressive effort to complete the courses, as they were not only warm and calm waters, but they also faced sea currents and waves, however, they were always under the protection of safety equipment.
Gran Retto thanked the participants, sponsors, volunteers and local authorities who made the realization of this successful series possible.

The organization is committed to continuing to offer unique and challenging experiences for open water lovers, and is already working on planning new routes and activities for next year.
Huatulco 2025 Open Water Crossing
During the days of October 15, 16 and 17 of this 2025, Gran Retto launched the registration campaign for the fifth Huatulco 2025 Open Water Crossing, where they will be able to register at the lowest price and thus secure their place for next year.
