On October 17 and 19, the Jalisco Ballet will present the “New Talents Choreographic Workshop” at the Art and Culture Forum. It will be a show with a variety of dance styles and techniques, directed by Lucy Arce.

The styles shown will be classical, neoclassical and contemporary dance. During the show you will be able to see 16 choreographies created by 14 of the Jalisco dancers and ballet. This will be the first experience as choreographers of a dance piece for most of its participants.

The director of the Jalisco Ballet since 2022, Lucy Arce, accompanied the preparation of the group with the support of the other teachers who have supported each of the ideas, as well as the correction of details in the movements and music that will be part of the show. The pieces will be presented only on this occasion.

Through social networks they shared some previews of what can be seen in the performance, including a behind-the-scenes look at the rehearsals. Maestro Mark Godden was also present to share his knowledge with the talented cast of the Jalisco Ballet.

These performances will take place at the Art and Culture Forum on October 17 and 18, starting at 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be free and will be handed out at the venue’s box office two hours before the start of the performance.
