Flights Delayed Up to Two Hours at Mérida Airport

From 9:10 AM to 1:56 PM, the arrival of nine more national and international flights is expected.

This Saturday started chaotically at Mérida International Airport. Viva Aerobús flight 1100 from Mexico City, scheduled for 8:10 AM, will now arrive at 11:35 AM, and its return to the metropolis will be at 12:24 PM.

Two other flights out of the eight scheduled by 8:15 AM also arrived slightly late, one from Monterrey and Volaris flight 220 from Mexico at 7:13 AM. The others landed early, including Volaris flight 1014 from Guadalajara at 6:53 AM, 30 minutes ahead of schedule; Viva Aerobús flight 9241 from Toluca at 7:36 AM, 14 minutes early; Volaris flight 7110 from Mexico at 7:50 AM, 10 minutes early; Aeroméxico flight 820 at 7:43 AM; and Volaris flight 7334 from Silao at 7:57 AM.

From 9:10 AM to 1:56 PM, the arrival of nine more flights is expected, four from the capital and the others from Miami, Oaxaca, Monterrey (2), and Guadalajara, out of a total of 38 arrivals.

Departing Flights

As for departing flights, six out of the ten scheduled by 8:35 AM took off slightly late, between three and fourteen minutes, four to the metropolis and the others to Houston, Monterrey, and Guadalajara. Only Viva Aerobús flight 9242 departed exactly at 8:35 AM.

Between 9:00 AM and 1:47 PM, twelve more flights are scheduled to depart, to Miami (2), Silao, Havana, and Monterrey. In the afternoon and evening, fourteen more flights are scheduled, nine to the capital and the others to Dallas, Cancún, Monterrey, Puebla, and Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
