An accident occurred on the Veracruz-Cardel highway, at the height of Geo Los Pinos and Colinas de Santa Fe, where a taxi driver crashed into the back of a trailer because another heavy unit hit him from behind.
According to unofficial versions, the driver of the rental unit was driving on the aforementioned road when the accident occurred.
Red Cross paramedics arrived at the scene of the incident, who immediately assisted the crew of the unit. Fortunately, Amadeo “N” only suffered bruises on various parts of the body.
Meanwhile, the passenger suffered bruises and had to be stabilized with a neck brace, and then transferred to a hospital where specialist doctors will determine the severity of her injuries.
The crashed car was left with considerable material damage, as the pieces of the taxi were scattered on the asphalt.
Later, elements of the Municipal Police arrived in coordination with the National Guard, who took note of the accident and then cordoned off the area to prevent another mishap from occurring.
