Latino students prefer Querétaro

Querétaro has been recognized by language course provider Preply as the third best city in Latin America, behind only Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Mexico City.

In Mexico, Querétaro ranks second nationally, reinforcing its relevance as an important option for students in the region.

This study is based on the evaluation of 50 cities in the region, considering factors such as living costs, access to education, safety, and the offer of activities at affordable prices.

The analysis carried out by Preply highlights that rental costs in Querétaro are relatively low, with an average of 10,750 Mexican pesos per month. This factor is fundamental for students, who are looking for affordable options for their accommodation.

Additionally, tuition fees in this city are approximately 7,135 Mexican pesos per year, a figure that is considered affordable compared to other cities in the region.

Querétaro’s safety score is another aspect that contributes to its high ranking. The city received a score of 63 out of 100, which positions it as a safe option for students.

The city also offers a wide variety of affordable activities, accounting for 37 activities at low prices in Preply’s analysis. This cultural and recreational offering is a factor that enriches the student experience in Querétaro, providing entertainment opportunities without a large expense.

In the Latin American context, Buenos Aires, Argentina, is positioned as the best-ranked city in the study, occupying the first place. The Argentine capital is distinguished by its wide academic offer, with 51 educational institutions and more affordable living costs.

Mexico City is ranked second in Latin America and first at the national level. With 98 higher education institutions and 226 affordable activities, the Mexican capital is presented as an attractive destination for students, although its high living costs reach an average of 17,462 Mexican pesos per month.
