At the recent monthly breakfast of the Nuevo León Energy Cluster, an important meeting was held with Fernando Rodríguez Tovar, general director of the Sonora Energy Cluster, and Eleazar Rivera Mata, general director of the Nuevo León Energy Cluster. This meeting aimed to analyze the energy needs shared by the border states of northern Mexico, key regions due to their proximity to Mexico’s main trading partner, the United States. Cooperation between the two clusters is a crucial step to face the energy challenges that affect regional and national economic development.
The discussion focused on the implementation of joint solutions to optimize energy infrastructure and accelerate the adoption of clean technologies, essential elements to guarantee sustainable growth. Both clusters recognize that facing energy challenges with a collaborative vision will not only improve the energy efficiency of the region, but also contribute significantly to Mexico’s competitiveness in the global context.
This joint effort highlights the importance of interregional cooperation to address common problems, such as access to more efficient and clean energy, as well as the improvement of industrial processes. Through collaboration, it is hoped to foster innovation in the use of energy resources and move towards a more sustainable model, which will benefit the economies of Sonora, Nuevo León and the country as a whole.
The meeting was shared through the official social networks of the Nuevo León Energy Cluster, highlighting the commitment of both organizations to build a more solid and sustainable energy future.
