Deputy Daniela Soto considered the meeting held between the Government of Durango and authorities of the Mexican Army and the National Guard of Sinaloa and Durango to be positive.
She commented that these approaches seek to carry out coordinated work between security institutions, to strengthen the actions necessary to preserve the peace and tranquility of the inhabitants of both states.
She also included that the agreed strategy would not only guarantee the flow of goods from the port of Mazatlán, contrary to the deficit of some products that is already perceived in Durango, but also maintain a safe environment for the consolidation of investments that have been sought in different countries.
“In addition to tourism, the cash flow, the growth of tourism for the calendar dates that come at the end of the year, we hope to have better conditions because we have seen people from Pueblo Nuevo affected who have ecotourism and the cabins themselves, where visits have decreased due to feeling insecure,” she added.
