300 more Mexican Army troops arrive in Culiacán to reinforce security

At 1:30 PM this Wednesday, 300 more Mexican Army troops arrived in Culiacán to join the security tasks in the municipality.

These troops join the other 300 who arrived yesterday, also to reinforce surveillance in the city and rural areas.

In the last 15 days, 1,500 Army troops have arrived in the municipality, including Special Forces and paratroopers.

All this follows a meeting between the governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, and the high command of the federal Public Security Secretariat and the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena).
