Querétaro Municipality launches Historic Center operation

As part of the strategies of the “Order Plan” that the municipality of Querétaro has undertaken for the recovery of public spaces, this morning the “historic center” operation began in the first square of the city, which seeks to organize the commerce in that area of ​​the city.

During the roll call, the Technical Secretary of the Government Secretariat, Juan Carlos Arreguín, indicated that this operation aims to avoid the placement of street vendors that damage the image and figure of the historic center.

“Today we began in a much more vigorous way a device to guarantee that our Historic Center is free of street vendors. That is the commitment of the Mayor and we are going to fulfill it,” he said.

The operation will be led by personnel from the Government Secretariat, the Municipal Inspection area, the Mobility Secretariat, the Municipal DIF System, Civil Protection and Municipal Public Security, in order for the public road to be free of street vendors for the free transit of pedestrians, in the first square of the city.
